Baptist Health System is seeking an ER/Healthcare Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care in a 10-bed Emergency Department in Rigsby. The role includes vital signs, specimen collection, wound care, and supporting patient safety per the plan of care.

Responsibilities include assisting with admissions, transfers and discharges, maintaining infection control, and traveling to facility locations as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; multiple healthcare pathways accepted.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS/ALS and PALS certifications are strongly preferred or required in certain markets.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Collect, report, and document clinical data and vitals.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policies and COLA/CLIA regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and care as per plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care.
• Ensure patient safety and privacy at all times.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control measures.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings or mandated meetings and perform additional duties.
