Job summary

Barrett Hospital seeks an Emergency Department Technician to coordinate communications between nursing and ancillary services and participate in patient care under RN and provider guidance.

You will perform basic patient care and electronic record documentation, interact with patients and families, support department efficiency, and assist with patient registration as needed. A passion for service, teamwork, and thriving in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Montana CNA certification with one year of experience and/or EMT training preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications between nursing and ancillary services to support patient care.
• Perform basic patient care and electronic record documentation under RN and attending provider guidance.
• Interact with patients, families, visitors and staff to promote department efficiency within scope of practice.
• Assist with timely patient registration processes when needed.
