Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.

• Health Aide Certificate or 2 years acute care experience preferred.
• Prior clinical health care experience preferred.
• Able to work alternating shifts.
• Phlebotomy and EKG procedures approved.
• Stroke education annually per unit protocol.
• Complete orientation and competency validation within probation.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with technical and patient care procedures in the ED.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision and communicate changes to the team.
• Serve as patient/family advocate and Redeemer Health representative; support throughput and care coordination.
