Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical School completion of Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant courses required
• Certified Nursing Assistant, certified Basic EMT, certified Phlebotomist, or certified Medical Assistant preferred
• 0-1 years of clinical experience required

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the ED including splint application, Foley catheter insertion, accuchecks, vital signs, EKGs, IV insertion under supervision
• Assists with patient transport to units, procedures, or discharge destinations
• Maintains a clean, organized environment following infection control standards and restocks supplies
