Job summary

Mount Carmel Dublin is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced ED. Position includes three 12-hour day shifts per week (7am–7:30pm) with rotating weekends/holidays, in alignment with Trinity Health’s mission.

The role emphasizes phlebotomy, EKG, wound care, data collection, and teamwork with RNs and physicians to manage trauma, stroke, and sepsis responses. High school diploma and BLS required, prior health-care exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalency.
• Licensure / Certification: BLS required; phlebotomy/EKG training preferred.
• Experience: Prior patient care experience or related health field preferred.
• Communication: Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient needs in a timely manner.
• Provides transportation and patient escort.
• Performs phlebotomy and collects lab specimens.
• Documents patient data including vital signs and procedures.
• Communicates changes to RN/physician promptly.
