Job summary

Mount Carmel Reynoldsburg, part of Trinity Health, is hiring an Emergency Department Technician to deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced ED. The role supports nurses, performs phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care and maintains sterile technique during procedures.

Shifts are 12 hours nightly (7pm-7:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays, offering competitive pay and day-one benefits plus opportunities for growth within Mount Carmel and Trinity Health family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Coursework including basic patient care skills, EKG, phlebotomy, and BLS preferred.
• Previous patient care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient needs promptly and with care.
• Transport and escort patients as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect lab specimens.
• Conduct EKGs and document vitals.
• Assist with wound care and sterile technique as required.
• Support trauma, stroke, sepsis alerts and resuscitation efforts.
