Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of one of the listed technical programs and one year of related experience.
• Completion of EMT program or enrollment in Nursing school with first semester clinical concepts.
• Active state EMS certification in good standing at date of hire.
• Recognition of military medical training (US Army medic, US Navy Corpsman, US Air Force Medic, US Coast Guard Corpsman).
• Completion of ER Tech CBO Tool within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collects, reports and documents data including vital signs and measurements.
• Performs Point of Care Testing and supports patient care per plan of care.
• Assist with patient activities, hygiene, feeding, mobility and transfers.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Ensure patient privacy and maintain a clean, safe environment; follow infection control measures.
• Coordinate with Nurse Clinicians, Charge Nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
