Job summary

Wabash General Hospital seeks an ER Tech to provide basic patient care for infants to seniors, assist nursing staff, and perform clerical tasks on the unit. You will monitor vital signs, help with ambulation, and assist with specimens and post-mortem care as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma; CNA is preferred but not required. Proficiency with EMR/Epic is expected, and willingness to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care for all ages and assist with daily activities.
• Take vital signs and monitor intake/output, assist with ambulation and hygiene.
• Support nursing staff, assist with admissions/transfers, and coordinate tests/procedures.
• Maintain EMR/Epic documentation and ensure organized work space.
