Job summary

STAT Emergency Center is seeking an Emergency Room Tech to provide technical support to physicians and nurses in the Emergency Center. The role includes assisting with patient care, managing supplies, and ensuring cost-effective operation of the department.

You will support nursing and medical staff, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and routine lab procedures, while maintaining clean and stocked patient areas and documenting care in the medical record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ Emergency Room experience.
• EMT-P or equivalent with 1-3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and physicians with technical patient care tasks (vital signs, phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs).
• Transport patients and monitor vital signs using appropriate equipment.
• Perform Point of Care Testing and basic lab procedures as directed.
