Job summary

Legacy Health’s Emergency Room Technician role supports a dynamic ED team by delivering compassionate, high-quality care to pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced setting.

You will work under Registered Nurses, assist with patient flow, and help maintain equipment safety while communicating clearly with patients, families, EMS, and hospital staff. Shifts vary across days, evenings, and nights at Legacy facilities in Oregon.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: prior patient care in emergency settings or with children.
• BLS for Provider certification required in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to a team-based approach to patient care and ED flow.
• Provides direct patient care to all ages under RN supervision.
• Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, EMS and staff.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of equipment and supplies.
