Dartmouth Health's Emergency Department in New Hampshire is seeking an ED Tech Advanced to join a Level 1 Trauma Center team. The role supports RN staff, performs ADLs, vital signs, EKGs, assists with IVs, medications, and patient transport in a busy 43-bed unit serving a wide age range.

You will work a rotating day/night schedule 7a–7p and 7p–7a, with opportunities to mentor teammates and contribute to patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong customer service and keyboarding skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist with patient care under RN supervision, including ADLs, vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, and recording results.
• Start IVs with saline lock and administer fluids; administer medications as ordered.
• Apply splints and immobilizers; remove IVs after competencies.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and restock supplies.
• Assist visitors and family; mentor new co-workers.
• Manage patient health information and medical records; perform administrative tasks during periods of high stress.
• Perform other duties as required.
