Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health seeks an Emergency Department Technician for the Lebanon, NH area. The role involves providing patient care support on a rotating 7a-7p and 7p-7a schedule across all seven days, under RN supervision in a high-volume Level 1 ED.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, hospital documentation, and keeping the ED safe and stocked. Requires NH EMT/LNA licensure options and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a chaotic environment.
• Keyboarding skills expected.

Responsabilités

• Assists with patient care activities under the supervision of the RN, including ADLs and data collection (vital signs, EKGs).
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized ED environment.
• Restocks rooms and equipment; supports visitors and family members.
• Mentors new staff and assists in monitoring at-risk patients.
• Performs clerical tasks and helps manage health information and medical records.
