Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current EMT Certification or CNA is preferred by state rules.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology is required.
• Minimum six months acute care hospital or physician's office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care for non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under supervision of the RN in charge.
• Support daily department operations and patient comfort.
