Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the daytime schedule. This unlicensed, non-certified role assists with daily living activities, basic nursing care, and maintains a safe environment under the supervision of the RN in charge.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, EMT or CNA credentials as required by the state, BLS current within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months of acute care experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT Certification or CNA, as required by the State.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
