Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center, part of the Prime Healthcare family, is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support the ED team in Lewiston, Maine. This per diem, day-shift role (645-1915) provides basic nursing assistance and safety support under RN supervision.

The incumbent will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a safe medical environment, and use medical terminology knowledge to aid patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current EMT Certification or CNA is preferred or as required by the state.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care for non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Support the ED team with essential tasks and patient care in a fast-paced setting.
