Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking an RN Clinical Unit Supervisor for the ER night shift. This role oversees clinical nursing practice, guides patient care, staffing, and unit operations in a Watson Model of Care framework.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Emergency Department nursing (charge nurse preferred), Florida? No, California. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; BLS/ACLS/PALS required; EMS/EMR experience preferred. This is a full-time night shift with a $17 differential.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Three+ years of emergency department nursing experience with charge nurse exposure.
• Certification in Emergency Department Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaises with Medical Staff and other personnel as primary liaison.
• Directs staffing, bed assignments, and patient flow per unit needs.
• Leads shift accountability and ensures safe, compassionate care.
• Promotes patient safety, service excellence, and staff development.
