Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of clinical nursing experience in Emergency Department nursing preferred.
• Basic EKG competence.
• Certification in Emergency Department Nursing preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and SBAR handoffs.
• Assess, plan, and implement care for the patient population on the assigned unit.
• Coordinate with care managers for discharge planning and follow-up.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort and ensure department readiness.
