Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in Garland FSER. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

You will assess pain, perform procedures as directed, document care, and educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-management. The role emphasizes advocacy for patients and a commitment to exemplary outcomes within a fast-paced emergency department.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 1 year of employment start date
• RN – Registered Nurse license
• Associate Degree in nursing or related field
• BCLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Assess and manage patient pain and provide timely documentation of care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-management.
• Advocate for patients and support department performance and outcomes.
