Medical City Haslet Free Standing ER in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Emergency Room RN for PRN day shift. The RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, using established nursing models and clear communication to support outcomes.

This role requires an Associate degree, TX RN license, current BLS/ACLS, ENPC/TNCC within 6 months, and at least two years ER experience. BSN preferred; BSN within 3 years may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred. BSN will be required within 3 years of employment.
• Registered Nurse license, eligible to practice in TX, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS upon hire (AHA or ARC).
• ENPC, TNCC required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum two years' nursing experience preferred; ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Performs procedures and monitors as ordered; documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Instructs patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Teaches patients and families about non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet and exercise.
