Job summary

TriStar Spring Hill ER is seeking a Registered Nurse to join as a PRN ER RN. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and state requirements.

You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, using established nursing models to support outstanding patient outcomes. Responsibilities include pain management, timely documentation, patient advocacy, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• 5 years ER RN experience required
• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of start
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months
• RN license in good standing (RN Diploma, or Bachelors/Associate degree)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain and promote effective pain management
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management
