Qualifications

• 2+ years ER experience is required.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and reassess after interventions.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications and possible side effects.
• Explain medical information clearly and translate terms for understanding.
