Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a RN for Emergency Department per diem coverage at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The shift runs 7pm to 7:30am with weekend coverage. Per Diem Commitment Level 1 requires 32-72 hours per 6-week schedule and no travel.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and colleagues in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individually teaches patients and families based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
