Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department per diem position at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. Shifts are 7pm–7:30am with weekend coverage, and the per diem commitment ranges 32–72 hours per 6-week cycle.

Applicants must hold an Associate's degree or BSN, a current IL nursing license, and AHA CPR certification. Eligible for incentives, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and staff in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Tailors patient and family teaching to learning needs.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing standards, laws and regulations.
