Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for Emergency Department per diem coverage at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. Shift is 7pm-7:30am with weekend coverage, 32-72 hours per six-week schedule.
Requires IL RN license, BSN preferred, and AHA CPR certification. The role offers competitive hourly pay with a new minimum rate of $37.25 starting October 2026, and eligibility for incentive programs and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient assessment and collect health data from patients, families and other providers.
- Coordinate patient care plan to ensure safe, timely interventions.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families and staff in person, by phone and in writing.
- Tailor patient and family teaching to learning needs identified in assessments.
- Participate in quality improvement to evaluate nursing practices.
