Job summary

Emerus in the United States is seeking an experienced ER RN to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room. The role requires 2+ years of ER RN experience and active PA RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

The position is full-time, night/weekend shifts with weekend differentials and a $20,000 sign-on bonus eligibility. Expect focus on patient safety, documentation accuracy, and teamwork in a 20-bed small-format hospital. Parking is free.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree is required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years full-time ER RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in speech and writing.
• Act 33 and Act 73 clearances for PA candidates within 5 years or before start.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately, concisely, legibly.
• Monitor signs and symptoms and observe patient status.
• Follow physician orders for nursing care.
• Perform labs, infection control, and aseptic techniques.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as needed.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures; ensure safety and policy compliance.
