Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced ED RN for night shifts on weekends (Fri-Sun, 7pm-7am) at a 20-bed small-format hospital. Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus; weekend differential of $8/hr on base pay; full-time position with parking and benefits.

Requirements include an RN license in PA, 2+ years ED experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS, with TNCC preferred. Join a mission-driven team delivering compassionate care in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing, state dependent.
• 2+ years ER or comparable experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care with documentation.
• Observe and record vital signs, symptoms and behaviors.
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policy and regulation.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Handle admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assist with procedures and prepare equipment as needed.
• Participate in quality assessment activities and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
