Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking an ED RN with at least 2 years of ED experience for a full-time night shift on weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun, 7pm–7am). A $20,000 sign-on bonus is eligible, plus a $8/hr weekend differential on top of base pay.

The facility is a 20-bed small-format hospital (10 ER, 10 Inpatient). Requirements include an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), PA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and clearances per state law.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure in PA.
• 2+ years ER experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in speech and writing.
• Act 33 and Act 73 clearances within last 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ED.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment for diagnostic and treatment procedures.
