Job summary

Texas Health Denton is recruiting an RN for night shift in the Emergency Department. You will deliver patient care with the Nursing Process, perform assessments, plan and implement interventions, and ensure safe, continuous care across shifts. Eligible new hires may receive a sign-on bonus.

Requirements include an Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred), RN license at hire, and BCLS/ACLS with CPI, ENPC, TNCC and PALS within specified times. ER experience 2–3 years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• RN license upon hire; CLIAFE compliance for foreign education may apply.
• BCLS, ACLS, CPI, ENPC, TNCC and PALS training with timing as stated.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses patients, plans and intervenes as needed.
• Evaluates interventions and ensures age-specific safety and infection control.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers.
