Job summary

NTMC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Night shift (7p-7a) in North Texas. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment, paid in installments. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, triage, and high-quality patient care in a busy ED setting.

Required Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, PALS within 90 days, and TNCC within 6 months. 2 years of critical care or emergency nursing preferred; CEN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas required.
• BLS, ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days.
• TNCC within 6 months; NIHSS within 1 year.
• CEN certification preferred; 2 years emergency/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments across age groups.
• Utilize triage to ensure timely, appropriate care and assign categories.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret cardiac monitoring data.
• Assist physicians with procedures and provide patient/family education.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and safety.
