Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room on the night shift (7 PM–7 AM). This full-time position requires delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, an Associate's degree (BSN preferred), and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with ER experience. English fluency and strong documentation skills are essential; benefits and a sign-on bonus are

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state; no sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or similar experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English language fluency and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate ER nursing care.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe and record vital signs and patient status.
• Follow physician orders for nursing care.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform tests per policy.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Manage admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures.
