Job summary

Emerus is hiring a part-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse for night swing shifts. The role focuses on assessing and caring for patients in a fast-paced ER, with emphasis on accurate documentation and patient safety. A strong team approach and adherence to clinical protocols are essential.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or BSN, active RN license, and 2+ years ER experience, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS. Act 33/Act 73 clearances may be needed for PA applicants.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree or BSN preferred.
• 2+ years ER RN experience or similar.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• English fluency required for communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in ER.
• Document accurately in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
• Follow physician orders and administer care.
• Prepare equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality patient care.
