Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence Neighborhood Hospitals is seeking an experienced ER nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room. Join a team focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care in a swing shift environment.

Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), active RN license, 2+ years ER or similar experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing care experience in ER or similar setting.
• Proficient documentation of medical records and patient status.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA-compliant handling of information.
• Follow physician orders and infection-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-appropriate nursing care.
• Complete accurate documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient conditions.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
