Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift to provide comprehensive patient care. You will assess, plan, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with the team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, infection control, and ongoing professional development within a supportive health ministry. Sign-on bonus and relocation options may be available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care; regularly evaluate and revise.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
