Emerus is seeking an ER nurse for a night shift, PRN position in North Las Vegas, NV. The role involves assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.

Essential duties include providing age-appropriate nursing care, documenting records, following physician orders, and ensuring patient safety. Requires RN licensure, 2+ years ER experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.

Competenze

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state; no sanctions.
• ER nursing experience 2+ years; full-time.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering care.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policy.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients.
• Prepare equipment for procedures.
• Participate in quality assessment activities.
• Attend mandated meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
