Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for night ER coverage in a 16-bed small-format hospital. The role is PRN, with shift from 7pm to 7am, focusing on age-appropriate emergency nursing care and thorough documentation.

The position requires an Associate’s degree (BSN preferred), current RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. ENPC may substitute for PALS; TNCC preferred. English fluency and necessary clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Plan, prioritize and deliver age-appropriate nursing care in ER.
• Provide accurate, concise documentation in medical records.
• Observe, record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Propose revisions to interventions and outcomes.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Follow physician orders in nursing care delivery.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policy.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Manage admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Perform Quality Assessment activities and document results.
• Attend staff or mandated meetings as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in state; no sanctions.
• 2+ years RN ER or equivalent experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; ENPC substitution for PALS; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in oral and written communication.
• Clearance checks (Act 33/Act 73) within last 5 years or before start.

Responsibilities
