George Washington University Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join its Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department. You will provide critical care to patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions, collaborating with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• DC RN License, or eligibility.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency department or critical care setting is preferred.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• TNCC certification within 1 year of hire.
• Exceptional clinical skills and judgment.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and react effectively in emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a dynamic emergency department setting.
• Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care for patients across conditions.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities.
