Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Florida. The role involves coordinating high-quality, patient‑centered care in collaboration with the care team and physicians.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, active RN license, ED RN experience, and current ACLS/BLS/PALS credentials or the ability to obtain them within setup deadlines. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• RN with active license and ED RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and adjust pain management as needed.
• Perform procedures and monitoring ordered by physicians and document promptly.
• Respond to patient requests promptly and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
