Job summary

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is seeking an Emergency Nurse Manager to lead the ED team, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care around the clock. You will enforce nursing standards, collaborate with physicians, and drive quality initiatives to meet patient safety goals across the emergency department.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, and ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 6 months. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN per state regulations
• BSN preferred
• ACLS and PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire/transfer
• American Heart Association BLS
• Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for safe, high-quality patient care 24/7
• Ensure nursing standards and policies meet legal and regulatory requirements
• Maintain continuity of care through interdisciplinary teamwork
• Collaborate with physicians and care team on patient progress and treatment
• Develop and implement programs to measure and improve nursing quality and patient safety
• Coordinate patient care with other services across the hospital
