Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Current RN licensure in Florida or eligibility to practice as an RN.
• Education includes Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma; APRN credential eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the patient record promptly.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates patient needs.
• Educates patients/families about conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up.
• Teaches healthy lifestyle changes and self-management for ongoing care.
