Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and the care team, guiding patients and families through their treatment plans with compassion.

The role emphasizes timely pain management, careful documentation, patient advocacy, and education on conditions and post-care.

Formación

• Active RN license in Georgia.
• ACLS within 60 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 60 days of employment start date.
• TNCC within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up.
• Prepares patients and families for self-management and lifestyle changes.
