Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. You will coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

You will assess pain, perform procedures, educate patients and families, and respond to requests promptly. We value advocacy, compassionate care, and delivering exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• RN must be licensed as a Registered Nurse
• Associate/Bachelor's RN diploma or degree required

Responsabilités

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments after interventions
• Performs procedures and documents care in the patient record promptly
• Responds to patient requests with timely, compassionate care
• Teaches patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures
• Educates patients and families on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management
