Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and the care team.

You will educate patients and families, translate medical information, and support transitions of care using established nursing models. MHUMC features a Level I trauma center and regional specialty services.

Qualifications

• RN license and eligibility in Georgia.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC or equivalent within specified timelines.
• Trauma-informed care knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Document nursing care accurately in patient records and respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, meds, and follow-up.
• Translate complex medical terminology for patient understanding.
• Support self-management and healthy lifestyle advice after discharge.
