Job summary

CommonSpirit-Health's St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital in Houston seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform assessments, and execute comprehensive care plans for diverse patient needs.

The role requires critical thinking, urgency, and teamwork within an interdisciplinary team. TX RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred; on-site, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Science in Nursing and at least one year of RN experience.
• Current TX RN license and BLS/CPR certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and provide nursing care meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Plan, direct, document and evaluate the care plan and patient education.
• Prepare patients for treatments, surgeries and diagnostics; report changes to physician.
• Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Provide accurate bedside shift reports to oncoming staff and involved family.
