Job summary

Houston Methodist is hiring for multiple full-time RN II positions across shifts, including mid-shifts and night shifts. This role requires twelve months RN experience, Texas licensure (or eligibility with 60-day licensure), BLS/ACLS/PALS, and demonstrated leadership or precepting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for required credentials.
• Texas RN Licensure or eligibility with timely permanent license within 60 days

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and perform assessments, exams and treatments.
• Educate patients and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional care team to ensure quality care.
• May assume leadership roles (charge nurse/preceptor) and participate in unit initiatives.
