Job summary

Qualifications

Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare environment.
RN licensure in Texas; must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days if establishing residency.
BLS and NRP certification required or to be obtained within specified timeframes.
Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for required credentials.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care, conduct assessments, assist with exams and treatment, and maintain medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional health care team to coordinate care and outcomes.
Assume leadership roles, including serving as charge nurse or preceptor, and participate in unit or hospital initiatives.
