Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program by date of hire.
• Minimum: Two (2) years of Critical Care experience.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana; BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC within specified times.

Responsibilities

• Triages patients in the Emergency Department based on severity.
• Assesses patient condition with vital signs and medication reconciliation.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures as prescribed.
• Monitors patient status and communicates with care team.
• Chairs and updates EMR with patient data and treatment.
• Discharges patients with instructions and education for discharge.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
