Riverview Health is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to perform initial patient assessments, lab work, and point‑of‑care testing. You will coordinate discharge planning with physicians and educate patients on discharge instructions, ensuring safe transitions from the ED.

The role requires critical care experience, ED exposure, and Indiana RN licensure, with responsibilities spanning triage, medication administration, and EMR documentation.

Qualificações

• Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program by date of hire.
• Minimum: Two (2) years of Critical Care experience.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience.
• Preferred: CEN, TNCC, NRP

Responsabilidades

• Triages patients in the Emergency Department based on severity.
• Assesses patient condition through vitals, medications, and charting.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures as ordered.
• Monitors changes and communicates with the care team per policies.
• Collaborates with the care team on discharge or admission processes.
• Charts medical history and updates EMR throughout stay.
• Discharges patients with instructions and ensures understanding.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
