Job summary

Backus Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The ED is a 42-bed unit utilizing EPIC EMR, Teleneurology, and wireless medication scanning in a fast-paced environment with a strong collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; BSN preferred.
• One year RN experience in ED or acute care preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS/TNCC/PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Develop and implement care plans using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
