Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, following established nursing standards.

You will assess pain, perform procedures as ordered, document care, educate patients and families, and promote self-management after discharge. A current RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications are required.

Formación

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year of employment start date
• PALS/ENPC or pediatric advanced life support within 30 days of employment start date

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with providers and care team; documents in patient record.
• Assesses pain and manages analgesia; responds to patient requests.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about condition, plan, and follow-up.
• Teaches self-management, lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions
