Job summary

Procare EL PASO EMERGENCY ROOM WEST is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include triage, IV therapy, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Must hold Texas RN licensure with ACLS/PALS; BLS CPR required; ER experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing.
• Current Texas RN licensure.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• CPR certification (BLS) required.
• Minimum 1 year ER/ED nursing experience.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety.
• Experience with electronic health records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform triage and assess patients; coordinate with healthcare team.
• Administer medications as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist physicians during exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Manage IV therapy, EKG, venipuncture, and patient monitoring.
• Document care accurately in patient records and logs.
• Ensure discharge instructions and patient education on discharge.
